Please read carefully:
Stand up paddleboarding can be pleasantly challenging and a lot of fun. All levels are welcome at 2 Winds Paddle Sports.
We recommend that you stay well hydrated before and after all SUP tours and that you get enough sleep prior. It is also important that you prepare properly for adequate sun protection (this includes sunscreen, hat and sun glasses) and avoid injury to your feet by bringing reef shoes (let us know if you require a pair, we have some!). If you are feeling unwell during any of the tours, please make a guide aware. If you have any pre-existing health conditions, please let us know. You should not drink alcohol before any of the tours. Paddle sports can be dangerous and physically demanding. Users of 2 Winds SUP equipment should be aware that participating in stand up paddling could result in serious injury or death. Use common sense and observe applicable watercraft laws. Our products are not intended as lifesaving devices. We recommend wearing a PFD (personal flotation device) when using our boards and always using a leash connecting yourself to the board. Do not use our boards in severe or hazardous water or weather conditions. Be aware that weather and water conditions can change rapidly. |
Always seek out local knowledge concerning the waterway you intend to paddle in, such as currents, tidal changes, rip tides, hazards such as rocks, reef or submerged debris.
